ComputerVault Virtual Desktops

ComputerVault is deployed either on site or in a colocation facility/datacenter as a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure with a unique technology stack that efficiently delivers virtual desktops. Since data is accessed only by your business, ComputerVault VDI ensures data privacy and protection.

Hyper-converged Infrastructure combined with VDI, virtual networking, and a hypervisor, provide fail over between all infrastructure components, servers, storage, network and applications, without requiring additional hardware. If any component or virtual server crashes, it fails over to another virtual server so that corporate data and applications are always available without downtime.

Businesses have access to data and applications hosted in the ComputerVault from both a Local Area Network and remotely from the WAN via a secure encrypted connection.

Built-in integration connects ComputerVault to any offsite resources, i.e., Public Clouds, datacenters, colocation facilities, etc., as well as any other ComputerVault. For an organization having multiple locations, any combination of resources may be connected in any network topology. All ComputerVaults are also connected to either our NOC, or yours, for 24x7 monitoring and support.

Compared to PC's and laptops, virtual desktops and virtual servers are both more secure and less expensive to support. The other virtual desktop solutions available in the marketplace, however, require very expensive initial investments in hardware and software to deploy them. Typically, there is an 8 to 10 year break even period before the lower support costs return an investment. With virtual desktops from ComputerVault, there is an immediate return on investment, since ComputerVault is less expensive than any competing virtual desktop product and less expensive than buying and supporting physical PC's.

Because ComputerVault is 100% proprietary, and does not license any third-party software or require expensive hardware to host it, ComputerVault is priced for widespread adoption. There's also no need to buy VPN's, firewalls, routers, UTM's and the other network gear that physical servers, PC's and laptops require.

ComputerVault delivers 100% redundancy for data, desktops, servers, applications and infrastructure components, combined with enhanced cybersecurity:

  • Protection from malware, spyware and ransomware
  • Onsite Data Privacy
  • Lower Costs
  • 24x7 Monitoring and Support
  • Failover Capability for Data, Applications, Desktops and Infrastructure
  • Offsite Backup and Recovery
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Zero Trust Security Model
  • Software-Defined Perimeter

ComputerVault Clients

Any Windows, Linux, Android or iOS-based device, such as PC, laptop, Mini-PC, tablet or phone, may be used a ComputerVault client. There are no dedicated endpoint clients.

Virtual desktops and servers are accessed either with a software client, available for download, or a web browser. The built-in VPN with Multifactor Authentication, integrated with the customer’s existing Active Directory, provides secure, encrypted connections.
